Supply Chain Data Analyst for 1st Shift – Will analyze data for transformation project and conduct cost analysis for BOM’s (Bills of Material). Will update obsolete items (Inactive/Nonconforming Material reports), warehouses and bins using Epicor. Will cross train with other Supply Chain employees on various projects and maintain spreadsheets. Assists in seasonal inventory forecasting, reconciling daily inventory counts/ Must have a minimum or high school diploma or GED equivalent. Must have a basic knowledge of Excel and Word, good communication & problem-solving skills, and a professional demeanor. Must be self-motivated & detail oriented, able to meet deadlines and work independently & with a group collaboratively.
Technical Service/Software Support Representative for 1st Shift – As a Tech Service Rep, serves as the principle source of technical information for customers seeking assistance on all LaMotte products. Principle duties include providing guidance with product selection, troubleshooting of all products (including kits, software and instruments) and responding to requests for methodologies, proper techniques, reagent composition, standard methods, MSDS and instrument repairs. As the Software Support Rep, focuses on “Tier 1” end-user support of software products for the pool and spa market and development testing. This includes resolving software related customer service issues directly with customers via phone, email or other communication method and processing internal orders for software and hardware replacement. Requires a B.S. or B.A. degree or equivalent education/experience in science or related field (chemistry preferred). Must have chemistry exposure, possess excellent communication skills and have excellent computer skills with working knowledge of Windows, word-processing and spreadsheet/database programs. Experience with software support & remote connection tools such as TeamViewer, and knowledge of pool/spa water chemistry major pluses. Hrs. are Mon-Fri, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Test Strip Assembler for 1st Shift – Follows the work schedule and productivity expectations developed by the Test Strip Production Coordinator. Should be well organized with a good attention to detail. Must be dependable; be able to work independently; have good color perception; be able to handle working with jigs, fixtures and the slitting machine; understand and respect the delicacy of the products working with; follow instructions exactly; be motivated towards products and process improvement; and be able to work closely with other staff members since much of process requires two person operations. Must be able to transport up to 40 pounds. Hrs. are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:45 p.m., with overtime as needed.
Test Strip Water Spider for 1st Shift – Reviews Job Travelers to pull the materials for the scheduled jobs. Must be detail oriented and able to accurately count and read job travelers. Requires much walking and standing. Must be able to transport up to 60 pounds and push a full loaded cart up to 200 lbs. Must be comfortable using computers and copiers. Hrs. are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:45 p.m., with overtime as needed.
UDV QC Tech for 1st Shift – Conducts performance and physical attribute testing on all UDV (unit dose vial) bulk powders, samples vials and pouches. The balance of the job will be to assist QC/QA in conducting quality control tests on liquid reagents, powders, color standards and test papers. Requires chemical testing or chemical technician experience. Some college chemistry (general, analytical) preferred. Must have good color perception, good laboratory skills to safely handle chemicals and able to transport up to 30 pounds. Must be able to handle several tasks simultaneously, have the ability to prioritize workload, handle repetitive tasks, work independently and follow instructions. Hrs. are 7:00 a.m. to 3:45 p.m., Monday through Friday, with overtime as needed.
Machine Operators for 2nd & 3rd Shift – Will operate equipment that dispenses liquids and pouches. Cross trains with & fills in where needed. Requires mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills, good color perception, manual dexterity & ability to transport up to 50 pounds & operate loaded pallet jack. 2nd Shift hours are 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, with overtime as needed. 3rd shift hours are 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., Sunday evening through Friday morning, with overtime as needed.
QC Technicians for 2nd & 3rd Shift – Will prepare standards and vats used in daily testing, interpret data and make reagent adjustments as needed. Conduct performance tests on start-up and hourly samples, and physical/vacuum testing on pouched products. Requires high school chemistry or general lab work experience, excellent math and problem-solving skills & ability to transport up to 40 pounds. 2nd Shift hours are 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, with overtime as needed. 3rd shift hours are 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., Sunday evening through Friday morning, with overtime as needed.
Test Strip Machine Operator for 2nd Shift – Sets up and operates the complete line following various machine set-up instructions. Maintains awareness of all safety requirements and alerts Management of any variations or problems. Completes daily preventative maintenance and maintains cleanliness of the equipment. Maintains inventory control of manufactured items and raw materials. Assures adequate material for the daily workload. Maintains accurate records of materials processed and completes all logs related to daily operation. Works with Management on scheduling of products. Must be well organized and have good attention to detail. Must be dependable; be able to work independently; understand and respect the delicacy of the products working with; follow instructions exactly; be motivated towards products and process improvement; be able to work closely with other staff members. Must be able to handle a pallet jack; and be able to transport up to 50 pounds. Hrs. are 3:45 p.m. to 12:30 a.m., Monday through Friday, with overtime as needed.
Temporary Production Floaters for 1st & 2nd Shift – Assembles test kits and test strips. Fills in for other production positions as needed. Should be well organized with a good attention to detail. Must be dependable; be able to work independently; have good color perception. Must be able to transport up to 40 pounds. 1st shift hrs. are 7:00 a.m. to 3:45 p.m., Monday through Friday, with overtime as needed. 2nd shift hrs. are 3:45 p.m. to 12:30 a.m., Monday through Friday with overtime as needed.
Temporary UDV Assemblers for 1st Shift – Operates equipment that fills vials, seals them and cuts the foil between individual vials in foil pouches in the powder operation. Vacuum tests sealed vials according to QA protocol to assure integrity of lid seals. Sets up and cleans equipment as necessary and keeps equipment in good operating condition. Must be able to read and follow instructions exactly, with good attention to detail, and be well organized. Requires good hand-to-eye coordination and manual dexterity. Must be able to transport up to 30 pounds. Hrs. are 7:00 a.m. to 3:45 p.m., Monday through Friday, with overtime as needed.
