This kit tests for Hydrogen Peroxide using the dropper bottle method. Range/Sensitivity is 1 drop = 5 ppm H₂O₂.

Insta-TEST^® Copper, pH, and Alkalinity Test Strips measures Copper 0, 0.3, 0.6, 1, 3 ppm, pH 6.2, 6.8, 7.2, 7.6, 8.0, 8.4, and Alkalinity 0, 40, 80, 120, 180, 240 ppm in 10 seconds. The electronic pH TRACER PockeTester™ allows direct reading of pH from 0.01 to 14.00 pH. The TRACER offers simultaneous pH and Temperature displays and a 15-reading memory storage. pH range is 0.00 to 14.00 pH/0.01 pH. Temperature range is 23° to 194°F (5° to 90° C).

The test is based on the reaction of the cationic polyquat with an anionic polyelectrolyte using Toluidine Blue O as the indicator. The color change is blue to purple. Levels are determined using the drop count method. Range and Sensitivity is 1 drop = 1 ppm Polyquat.
