This Biological Activity Reaction Test tests for Iron related bacteria. Kit includes 9 tests. The change of red color indicates a presence of bacteria within that sample. Interpretation is provided with the kit.

 

The Cyanuric Acid (Stabilizer) test kit measures Cyanuric Acid levels at 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 80 and 100 ppm. The kit includes 50 Cyanuric Acid visual grade TesTabs® tablets that are added to a test tube. Once the tablet disintegrates then the analyst would look down through the test tube and measure the Cyanuric Acid level by the disappearing dot method.

 

This test kit measures for Chlorine or Bromine using the direct reading titrator method. Range/sensitivity is 0-10 ppm/0.2 ppm Cl or Br.

 

This kit tests for Iron using the Octa-Slide 2 Comparator. Range/Sensitivity is 0.5, 1.0, 2.0, 3.0, 4.0, 6.0, 8.0, 10.0 ppm Fe.

 

This pH test kit tests for pH using the Octa-Slide 2 Comparator ranging from 8.0 – 9.4 pH.

 

This kit tests for Ammonia Nitrogen in fresh and salt water aquarium water samples using the Octa-Slide 2 Comparator.

 

The test is based on the reaction of the cationic polyquat with an anionic polyelectrolyte using Toluidine Blue O as the indicator. The color change is blue to purple. Levels are determined using the drop count method. Range and Sensitivity is 1 drop = 1 ppm Polyquat.
